FontBase boasts a responsive app window with a properly contrasted background which in turn makes fonts stand out nice and shiny. I noticed that this problem affects all programs, that is, the fonts that are activated in FontBase are not visible to the operating system, even using the command "fc-cache " did not work. FontBase is a super fast, beautiful and free font manager for designers. Font dont always activated on when loading documents in programs like Photoshop where they have been. However, the deal-breaker for me is that it doesnt allow you to add folders on a network drive. Overall I like FontBase but there are a few issues. Usually I activate the fonts and when opening Inkscape they are recognized, however, in Manjaro 19 Gnome this is not happening. Looks neat, but the UI has some usability issues. ![]() I use the FontBase application (appimage) to activate / deactivate fonts (Google Online Fonts mostly) that I use in graphic works mainly in Inkscape and Gimp. ![]() have no issues detecting them so I assume the issue lies with Figma. Even restarting the app or computer did not help. I installed the new Manjaro 19 Gnome on my production PC and I am seeing a problem with font management. I tried using Fontbase to manage my fonts, but its seems like Figma does not recognize the fonts I activated.
